Similar to removing a bandaid. Most folks I know - KNOW it's going to hurt when the bandaid comes off. Most folks I know prefer the two-second sting of a quick removal (rip it off) than torturous minutes of slowly pealing the bandage off.

On the off-chance common sense falls into a coma and Trump is legitimately elected for a second run - we'll deal with it - day by day. Week by week. One climatic blunder at a time. This time around — I’m certain — more adults with ample common sense will block — dead — attempts to jigger a 200+ year social experiment into what started the experiment to begin with. USA was birthed with a vision to leave aristocracy to historical dust-bins. To return to what already smells like serfdom? Well? It might. Not for long.
