The irony here is simple. Consumers. Consumers who want:
- the lowest possible price no matter how much that low price affects others
- the fastest possible delivery (to sate themselves) to matter how many resources are burned to deliver what they could have purchased from a local store.
When we wake-up the the reality it’s time go back to quality* (versus quantity) Amazon’s model will experience retirement.
- quality relationships (with each other and our planet)
- quality products (produced by life-affirming wage-based sources)
- quality common sense ;)
