I sense there's a re-wiring happening regarding information consumption. More creators (both products and services) are less likely to give it away for free.
The more people genuinely embrace the old cliche - you get what you pay for - subscriptions to quality output will grow.
Over the years I've slowly implemented a limited access subscription program. Once subscribed, subscription rate is locked in. Each month new subscription rate increases. Cancelled old subscription rates are more than offset by new (more expensive) subscriptions.
