Spot on about spammers. My Youtube posts have comments 'off' based on an ever-increasing spam presense.

Medium's comments (thus far) - mostly insightful. I wonder what would happen if Medium required a membership to access the ability to place a comment? Would spammers pay the $50 annual fee to gain access? Hmmmm
