Reminds me of the days when I taught "Desktop Intro" classes to include MS DOS and Mac OS 5.
I always taught intro to PC FIRST. One week of basic instruction on how to boot a computer. Create, delete, navigate directories. Create simple words docs. Basic web browsing. Etc.
Once folks had their PC footings we'd switch to Macs. Always funny how people challenged DOS complexity with MAC simplicity.
As programing ripens into WYSIWYG (per se) - we'll laugh even harder at scenes like Star Trek where characters like "Scotty" talks into a "mouse."
