Over the past two decades I’ve floated this notion amongst students, retreat / workshop / seminar participants, etc.
When I learn — from poor choices — my poor choice becomes an asset.
- I will make fewer poor choices in the future because I’ll remember how I made that poor choice.
- I’ll smell (feel) a poor choices must faster
- I’ll save considerable resources from learning.
Of which — sunk costs become moot.
