One of the more insidious natures of the evolving corporate structure is their desire to placate the notion of a biological family with that of the co-worker family. Replace raising a child with rising up through the ranks. Replace a desire to pamper grandchildren with mentoring the next set of C-Levels, et. al.

Another rising trend includes the adoption and succoring of domesticated animals. Example? Dogs / cats in modified baby-strollers carted about grocery stores. Much easier to offer conditional love to four-legged 'fur-babies' than to humans.

So many factors play into the decision to create and raise life. As we begin to realize we MUST do a FAR BETTER job at honoring the life Earth provides - we begin to discover less is more.
