One of the more fascinating perspectives my aging journey offers is the differences in teaching good manners - if at all - with each passing generation.

I grew up with the mandate that hand-written thank you notes were simply required for any received gift. No matter the gift - time to find the box of thank you cards, a pen and later - postage.

When was the last time you got a hand-written thank you card LOL!
