Once upon a time (back in the days where you needed to understand DOS commands) I used to teach 1) Intro to PC's and 2) Intro to Apple.

My usual syllabus began with two months (one day a week) learning PC (DOS, et. al.).

Then we switched to one month (four classes) learning Macs.

One day a fellow teacher asked why I did PC first then Mac. My reply? Mac's are far easier to learn. He challenged me to try ONE series where I taught Mac first. His logic? Help people understand / value each system based on their proclivities.

I took the challenge. To this day I regret my action. On the very first day of attempting to teach people PC's (learn DOS, etc.) after experiencing Macs I got, "But WHY do I HAAAAVE EEEE toooooOOOooo....."

By week 4 of 8 weeks on learning PC's series, 80% dropped out. Reason? Bought a Mac.
