LOL! Anthony - I'm sending this post to students who get upset at me for reminding me of a rule I suggest folks follow in class.
The rule? Never - ever - for any reason whatsoever, quote me.
If you say it - own it. If what you say are words I've said - I need no attribution.
While I understand the act of citing credit is a form of deference to original sources - it's also a sign of where one is at on their journey.
When I hear a student quote me, I ask them why the need to mention my name. Their why leads to some extraordinary revelations.
