Lately, when the issue of politics seeps into conversation, and I'm pressed to disclose my thoughts, I keep things simple.

Who you vote for is a personal matter that I have no desire to influence. You're an adult. Do your own research. Make your own decisions.

If pressed, I'll share, "Have you made plans to help your elders if they need help voting? Do they need a ride to the polling station. Do they need help completing whatever forms to receive a mail - in ballot? Do they need help getting to the post office?

History reflects when blue people vote, blue people win. When blue people fall sick to apathy, any wonder why red people win?
