I wonder what will happen when the profits of the USA incarceration system begin to drastically drop thanks to replicating the Scandinavian model. Those making bank on gaining (1) and maintaining (2) people behind bars will NOT be happy with less profit.

The Scandinavian model sees restoration far differently than the USA model. For-profit driven penal systems will thwart the best efforts of creating the change our justice system needs from the ground up.
