Hopefully - we experience the ripening of wisdom as we age. For too many of U.S.A. elected officials who presumably earned advanced degrees from ivy-league institutions - what wisdom they demonstrate (too me) is incongruous with the degree(s) they allegedly earned.

When those elected to govern advance their lack of common-sense - then yes. Time to trigger a clause to sunset their term.
