Heads-up to current Medium members who use ApplePay to renew your membership. The upgrade to Friend Tier appears on your ApplePay Subscriptions options. The upgrade option does NOT appear in your medium settings page.

Notes:

1. I just upgraded. New icon must take a minute to update since I still see a Star icon post upgrade.
2. I didn’t get a pro-rated amount. I was charged $157.06. I’ll contact Billing support to see waaa happened! (I suspect it has to do with using ApplePay to upgrade.)

The way that Apple handles this is they will issue you are refund for the difference. So they charge both initially, and then when you perform the upgrade, they take that whole amount, and then they will issue a refund next. If you need anything else, please let me know.
