Eons ago I read Dr. Scott Peck's People of the Lie: The Hope for Healing Human Evil
Dr. Peck outlines three flavors of evil:
1) ignorant souls who sincerely have no clue their actions are evil. Example: souls navigating Schizophrenia.
2) situational evil - evil deeds done often to simply survive. Once out of survival mode - end of evil deeds. Example: Poor parent stealing to feed children.
3) conscious evil - souls who do evil deeds - knowing their deeds are evil - yet appearing to be good. Example: celebrity religious leaders raping children.
As more souls awaken critical thinking skills the more we'll call out evil. As evil is called out - more than ever - time to explore the consequences.
