gathered to celebrate the 25th day
of the 12th month of our annual clocks.
Some flocked with festive displays
others sparkle with seasonal frocks.

Regardless of place or attire
may you savor moments of glee
as you hug and kiss moments prior
toasts, desserts, may you see

how clearly loved you are this day.
Merry Christmas my dearest souls!
Alone or nestled, at work or play
allow this seasons’ light to sow

memories of delightful deeds done.
