The 47th presidency officially starts on January 20, 2025. For the first time in the USA’s recorded history we’ll swear in a convicted felon and sex offender to the highest elected office in the land. From what we learned from the 45th administration culminating in a riot instigated by a president who took an oath to uphold the Constitution to the United States, we’re most likely in for an unprecedented circus show for at least the next five years.
How do you plan to navigate daily life with a leader who publicly exhibits every trait listed in the DSM5 for those living with a narcissistic personality disorder?
A suggestion? Take a page out of Trumps playbook. Focus on yourself. Focus on yourself such that you swap your time and attention spent on endless streams of chaos on display thanks to:
- biased news streams
- social media streams and memes
- well intentioned family and friends who regurgitate propaganda with increasing levels of hysteria
with focusing on gaining an upgrading skills to live life with less stress caused by doubt, guilt, shame and worry.
