As you note, morals are complex, evolving creatures. What's considered immoral in one social / cultural aspect is seen as completely moral in others. Thank you for pointing out this paradox!

I applaud your Universal Law of morality such that it mirrors the medical professions Hippocratic Oath. Do no harm (paraphrased). Mix with a conscious awareness of doing no harm with an eye toward compassion and grace? Sign me up!
