Aloha Steven, know I’m smiling ear-to-ear as I ponder this post.
For all our capacity to learn I find so many paradoxes. Example: perspective. The divine capacity to willingly choose to explore differences provides pin-codes and passwords to ripen knowledge into wisdom.
Perspectives require effort (work). As we navigate more chaos (daily served via hand-held super computers) a natural desire to seek-out simplicity trickles into routines, desires and beliefs.
Simplicity in the form of one book with all the rules to follow — no thinking required — just follow the rules. No thinking = blindness to the gifts of perspectives.
Souls similar to Socrates are as dangerous to our materialistic inbreeding today as in Socrates’ day. Critical thinking = terrorism LOL!
Bowing in gratitude for your wit n’ wisdom.
Aloha!
