Over the decades, I've lost track of the number of coming out groups I've facilitated. I've witnessed a delightful shift in coming out trends.

My initial groups were focused on preparing for potential rejection, improving self identity and safe sex.

My most recent group explored how to be happily surprised when folks they thought never knew - knew! That shift in coming out is one a savor!!

As a former Catholic I know all too well the trials and tribulations related to coming out to devout family and friends. Scary at first! So worth the risk and effort!
