Aloha Jeffry — Mahalo nui loa (thank you very much) for wiggling awareness into our collective consciousness. If history is our teacher we need these awareness wiggles to dust off facts. Facts tend to dissolve illusions, myths n’ such when we allow facts to integrate a sense of perspective. Facts that challenge our sense of well-being (worth, etc.) seem more readily discarded based on a culturally ingrained roster of feelings — true?
One lesson I’ve learned from our collective rainbow history (as an out gay monk and social worker for over four decades) is the art of gratitude. When I encounter souls who desire myth more than legend (fictions more than facts) I pause to remember when I walked that path. Keeping things 100 takes as much training as hitting the gym daily, practicing on’s craft daily, etc. The gratitude I feel rises from a knowing that revisionist writers and readers will one day discover their truths — when they’re ready. This post helps us all become ready.

Bowing in gratitude for your wit and wisdom!
