Aloha Jean-Louia ;) - Bowing in gratitude for your seven-course meal sating insight and perspective. As I digest both I wonder. As technology births new realms for individual capacity will we see a renascence of creation and consumption? Will legacies (systems, customs, norms) embrace / adapt or feed divide and conquer cycles.
Examples: pre-internet: travel? Go to a travel agent or company (air, bus, train) to purchase tickets. Today? Select your favorite site to search / purchase tickets.
pre-internet: publishing? (Text, music, art.) Find an agent / dealer, etc. Share revenues with all involved with publishing. Today? Build personal site, Sell direct to consumer.
With increased capacity to create will creators increase production? Will creators burn out more quickly due to increased consumption needs?
As we dance with the needs of the many (consumers) with the needs of the few (creators) what surprises await us I wonder.
