Aloha Hope! What a refreshing post. Given my first eight years of education was at a Catholic grade school, I just giggled at how you described your class.

At least you had a male teacher who didn't shy away from common sense. Me? Nuns teaching most the classes. PE teacher dragged in to teach "that class."
