Your post brings to light the abject fear elder white males are waking up to. For too long their bubble of privilege - similar to fish in water - allowed what we're experiencing to blossom.

As our governing bodies more closely represent those who elected them (growing non-white elected officials, more females, more non-binary oriented souls) we'll see even more abject fear playing out by creating ever-increasing levels of chaos (e.g. Republicans favoring Fascism).

Until . . .

Slowly, but inevitably - generations of traditions (teaching racist ways of living / legislating for example) actually, physically . . . die out. Those replacing the centuries of privileged living will birth a genuine Renaissance unlike anything we’ve seen.
