Aloha Dr. Tanasugarn,
This post caught my eye given a couple decades worth of working with over 350K on expanding their understanding of their sense of worth.
WOW! Spot on. Every point. So many levels of doubt, guilt, shame and worry bury one's sense of love, acceptance, validation and belonging. True?
May this post jiggle enough readers to take a moment to reflect on just what their sense of worth is? We'll start with "do you have a sense of worth?" If so - what forms your awareness of your worth?
As you note, people pleasing and co-dependency are tenacious weeds in our worth garden. To shift away from these life-draining traits - takes effort.
Based on what I've witnessed first hand with so many students, the effort is well worth it.
Bowing in gratitude to you for this timely post.
